Hi, Tonya! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The winter holiday season is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Having experienced Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party a few times I can tell you that there is a lot of festive fun happening to fill-up your evening and you may want to skip the Holiday Wishes Dessert Party to be able to enjoy everything! That being said, do you plan on attending the party again in the future? If so, then I could see the magic of having an amazing view of (in my opinion) the BEST fireworks at Walt Disney World Resort AND you get some sweet treats, too! Did you know that there are also complimentary snacks found in Magic Kingdom Park throughout the evening? If I were you, I would enjoy these complimentary goodies and pick a spot for the Holiday Wishes fireworks show about 30 minutes ahead of time and you should have a great view! Now don’t get me wrong, I love me a good dessert party, however, I am also a “Disney ninja” who likes to maximize her time in Disney Theme Parks- especially during a Special Event! I want to have time to meet with the rare Disney Characters such as Jack Skellington dressed as "Sandy Claws", and Scrooge McDuck! Is there any way that you can go to the Dessert Party on a different night? If you are a lover of sparkling wine, then I would suggest attending the
Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party! You get treats, a great view of IlumiNations: Reflections of Earth, a ride on Frozen Ever After (without waiting 2 hours or needing a FastPass+ Reservation), AND there is sparkling wine!
I hope my insight has helped you make your decision. Have a very merry time and please come and visit us again soon,
Jen
