I know the WDW website quite well, and I have the schedules for the dates of our vaca, but everything I read says to go to City Hall upon arriving and get the guidemaps with daily entertainment schedules. How necessary is this? I want to save time! Thanks!

    Hi Laura!
I can certainly appreciate you wanting to minimize your wait time while maximizing fun time. The schedules you see on the website are usually for the headliner-type events for the day/evening, like parades, fireworks, etc. Guide maps and the Times Guide are available at each respective park right at the entrance, so there is no need to wait in line to get one. These guides list additional entertainment options for the parks on specific days, such as character meet-and-greet times, stage shows, and other special events. Therefore, I think a Times Guide is very necessary. The good news is that they are a quick grab once you enter the parks. I wish you a Magical trip!! :)
