I know that the summer season brings big crowds. Would it be best to travel July vs June to WDW? This will be our second visit to WDW. We plan to stay onsite.

    Hi Mary!

Yes, the parks of Walt Disney World do get busier during the summertime.  Typically earlier in June is better than at the end of June for less crowds and less heat and humidity.  The Fourth of July week is one of the busier weeks of the summer at Walt Disney World.  If you vacation in Walt Disney World during June or July, then you will need to have a strategy to stay out of the sun during the hottest parts of the day like dinning inside for lunch or picking inside rides or attractions that have air conditioning to experience during the middle of the day. There can be a short lasting afternoon thunderstorm everyday, so pack umbrellas or rain ponchos for your vacation.

I hope that your second Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
