    Andrea Asked

Hi! I know I can sort rides by preschoolers, but I'm wonderingif any would be too scary for a 21 month old. Or what would br best for that age?

Hi Andrea! I agree it is best to head to a Disney vacation with some planning in mind as far as the attractions go. This will diminish disappointment from the children if they are not tall enough or the ride is a bit over their comfort zone.

With a child of 21 months it is sometimes hard to make suggestions since that age can be so different from child to child. You know best if you feel darkness is going to affect them or loud noises. Some attractions are not "scary" but they will include darkness and noises. If you are not sure please take the time to ask specific questions to the cast member on duty about what to expect and make a game time decision whether to embark on it at that time.

Here are some thoughts from my own experience that are great for that age in general.
Magic Kingdom: Walt Disney railroad, Swiss Family Treehouse (includes climbing), Aladdin's Magic Carpets, Jungle Cruise (some darkness), Enchanted Tiki Room, Country Bear Jamboree, Tom Sawyer Island, Riverboat, Small World, Peter Pan, Carrousel, Dumbo, Belle, Ariel, People Mover, and Buzz Lightyear (ride only).
Epcot: Seas with Nemo, Turtle Talk with Crush, Living with the Land (boat ride), Imagination, parts of Innoventions, Gran Fiesta in Mexico, and Kidcot spots in World Showcase.
Hollywood Studios:  Honey I Shrunk Kids Play area, Toy Story Mania (for ride), Voyage of Little Mermaid, and Beauty and Beast. Other possible but sit in back include Indiana Jones and Stunt Show. Great Movie Ride and Muppet Vision possibly.
Animal Kingdom: Festival of the Lion King show, Safari Ride, Pangani Trial, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Jungle Trek, Boneyard, and Finding Nemo show.

Again these are suggestions and not necessarily the only things you can enjoy with your toddler.
