Do you know if the Skyliner at Caribbean Beach will be open for our December 4th through December 8th 2019 visit?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tracy!

There is so much happening at Walt Disney World Resort this year. We've got the debut of Disney's Riviera Resort, the newest Disney Vacation Club property coming this December, the long-anticipated grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and of course, a brand new and very exciting transportation option for guests: the Disney Skyliner.

This new gondola system will begin transporting guests in the fall of this year. We don't yet know the exact opening date, but here are a few things we do know for sure about the Disney Skyliner. It's going to connect guests to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, and the Resort Hotel you'll be staying at: Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You might have also seen that the gondolas are actually up and running and being tested right now to get them ready for guests later this year! Recently, the Disney Parks Blog unveiled 55 Disney-themed cabins and I've made a long list of the ones I want to ride in. The Haunted Mansion gondola might be my favorite, but it would be amazing to glide into Disney's Hollywood Studios in a cabin decorated with friends from a galaxy far, far away. Between you and me, I'll be at Walt Disney World Resort right around the same time as you, and I hope the Disney Skyliner will be open in time for us both to have a ride! Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, because it'll be the first place you'll hear about any exciting news, including an opening date.

    Have a magical day, Tracy!

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our two rescue animals. We are Disney-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted-out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World instead! I'm thrilled to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
