I know there are signs at each line entrance to illustrate height for each ride, but I was wondering if there is a "general rule" so we know in advance and don't have to let him see each ride he may not be able to go on due to his height. Thanks

Hi Barbara! One of the reasons I love Walt Disney World is that the vast majority of attractions have no height requirements so all members of the family can ride together. Some of the more thrilling rides do require children to be a certain size before riding. Click here to see a chart listing the height requirements for the rides in all four parks. In general, a child who's 40 inches tall will be able to ride most attractions at Walt Disney World, although a few attractions require heights of 44 to 48 inches.
