I know there are some rides at WDW that people with epilepsy should avoid. Is there a list anywhere so we know in advance which rides / attractions they cannot go on? I tried the WDW website, but did not get the results I wanted. Thanks for your help.

Hi Jenny!  In the last year I have found a wonderful resource book called, PassPorter's Open Mouse for Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line by Deb Wills and Debra Martin Koma.  This book is written for all those guests with extra challenges and includes quite a bit on epilepsy and suggestions for a successful vacation.  It describes each ride, in each park, in detail so you are aware of what to expect as far as noise and darkness and special affects.  It would be an excellent purchase to take with you before your vacation and can be found at most major bookstores or amazon.com.

Before you start your day in each park be sure and stop at Guest Services.  The cast members here will also be able to assist you with the rides and attractions for that park and if any changes have taken place that you might not be aware of.
