I know it is recommended to use a thicker handled marker for the characters to sign autographs. I am just wondering what the best kind is to use. I am thinking along the lines of a Sharpie with the clicker on top, or is that not thick enough? Thanks!

    Donna,

I would use the clicker permanent pen in a heartbeat for one main reason - no lid!  I find the juggle of getting the camera out and ready, getting the autograph books out and open to the right pages, and then getting a pen and keeping track of the lid could be a bit, well, exhausting.  And of course, I want to enjoy watching my kids interact with the characters!  To remove one part of that juggling act just makes the day go that much smoother, and I think the pen is still bigger than a ball point pen to help the characters.  I don't know if this is just me, but I lose pens just as often as our dryer eats socks.  Because of this, I always brought a few extra pens with me.   Have a magical trip!  Kara
