How to know which park to visit on what days? Is it true to avoid the parks with EMH because that will be the most crowded park.

    Hi Linda,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There are a few considerations that we keep in mind when deciding which parks to visit on which days. First, we check the park hours for the dates of our visit. Since our girls are older now, we like late night Extra Magic Hours. Although we never stay until closing, we love to get in a ride or two after the fireworks. We do try to avoid early morning Extra Magic Hours. Instead, we do pre-park opening dining reservations on days when the parks do not have early morning Extra Magic Hours. We love to enter the park before the crowds descend - walking through an almost empty park is simply magical!

We also check an online crowd calendar to see what the crowd levels might be for each park on the dates of our visit. Even with doing that, however, we usually just make decisions based on the order we would prefer. For our upcoming trip, we have decided to visit Epcot first, then Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and then Magic Kingdom again. On this trip, we are actually doing the early morning Extra Magic Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios because Toy Story Land is opening!

Finally, when our girls were younger, we had to do the princess character meals, so we sometimes had to alter our plans depending on when we could get a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table!

Linda, my advice - decide what is best for your family based on their interests and just check the park hours for the dates of your visit. Then, make dining reservations and Fast Pass+ selections!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
