Mickey at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Hi, I just want to know which park is better to celebrate Halloween night on October 31st with a four-year-old? EPCOT or Hollywood Studios? We are going to give a pass on the MNSSHP.

Hello again, Jade! I’m so happy to see that you’re back to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Autumn is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. There are lots of fun events happening like the 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and even though you won’t be stopping in for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will still get to enjoy the adorable Mickey Mouse pumpkins and fall buntings that adorn Main Street U.S.A at the Magic Kingdom Park.

I suspect Disney’s Hollywood Studios would be a great place to visit during your trip this October. The new Toy Story Land will be debuting this June and I think your four-year-old would love to experience some play time with Andy’s favorite toys!

There’s always a chance something fun may be planned for this new land. I would suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Park Blog for any mentions of special activities there.

If you purchase the Park Hopper option on your theme park tickets, I recommend hopping over to Epcot for the 2018 Food & Wine Festival. Along with the delicious food and wine, there will be some great music performances during the Eat to the Beat Concert series.

Jade, remember you can start making your FastPass+ selections 30 days before your magical vacation. If you’re a guest at a Disney Resort hotel, you can start making your selections 60 days before your trip. Having that extra time will come in handy for reserving the new attractions in Toy Story Land!

Hope this helps! If you need any more suggestions as you continue your plans, you know where to find us!
