Hi there, Michelle! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
I am thrilled that you and your family will be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon. Since you will be visiting for just one day, I suggest purchasing Park Hopper tickets. These will allow you to experience both parks at the Disneyland Resort in one day.
Purchase your tickets online in advance and select the eTicket option at check out. You can then bypass the ticket booths when you arrive because you can go straight to the park gates to exchange your eTicket vouchers.
There's a lot to explore, so take a look at the
Attractions page and prioritize your favorites. I also suggest that you start your day as early as possible. Crowds are the lowest first thing in the morning which means you can ride many of your favorite attractions with the lowest wait times of the day. To further maximize your time, consider adding
Disney MaxPass when you buy your tickets. With Disney MaxPass, you can select FASTPASSES on your phone using the
Disneyland app. You can select FASTPASSES from anywhere in the park and with your Park Hopper ticket, you can even select a FASTPASS for an attraction in Disney California Adventure Park while you are in Disneyland Park. It is such a time saver!
Finally, make a
dining reservation for either lunch or dinner (or both!). There are lots of great table service options to choose from and reserving your table in advance saves you even more time and ensures you get a fabulous meal.
I hope this helps! Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any other questions.
