I know that Main Street Bakery's cinnamon rolls are now being sold at Gaston's Tavern but are they only selling cinnamon rolls with maple frosting? or are they offering the option of either maple frosting or the original frosting?

    Hi Samantha!

No joke - I just finished my breakfast, and after reading your question, I'm hungry for a cinnamon roll now. Thanks a lot!

While I love the attractions, shows, resorts, and all other aspects of a Walt Disney World vacation, the food is definitely at the top of my list. That being said, I think I'm well equipped to chat about this topic with you!

If you ask me, the cinnamon rolls being served at Gaston's Tavern are pretty darn close to the ones that were served at the Main Street Bakery. Yes, if you pay attention, you'll probably pick up a hint of a maple flavor in the ones being served at Gaston's Tavern. If you ask me, I think it's a great addition because it's a subtle flavor. It's one of those things that makes you go, "Hmmmmmm."

Unfortunately, the menu at Gaston's Tavern only has one variety of cinnamon roll. However, I think this is one of those instances where change is good. In fact, I caught myself eating a cinnamon roll last week (unfortunately, not at Walt Disney World) and thinking that it could've used some maple flavoring. I'm hooked on the combination now!

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

When you order a cinnamon roll from Gaston's Tavern, ask the cast member for some extra icing. I'm not sure what the official policy is on that, but I didn't get any resistance.

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions (food-related or anything else), feel free to send them my way and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Bon Appetit!

    Best regards,
    Derek
