We have a 2YO and a 3YO and would like to know about the facilities nearby Casey Jr's Splash & Soak for changing their clothes. Also, is the surface barefoot friendly and antimicrobial or will they need shoes? Thanks.

    Heigh-ho Matt!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I was just at Walt Disney World last weekend and saw many children having a splashtastic time at Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station in the warm weather. The surface is not antimicrobial, but I did see children playing barefoot and with shoes. If it were my children, for safety reasons, I would opt for shoes.

There are bathrooms right next to the play area, including a family restroom which is a larger space than a regular restroom stall. If it's a really hot day, then they would probably dry quickly without changing clothes. I know after riding Kali River Rapids, I have been soaked to the bone but was dry by the time I walked to the front of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However I would throw a change of clothes in a plastic bag, so you have somewhere to put wet clothes, just in case.
