I know Disney is supposed to be the happiest place on earth, but I am having anxiety trying to plan our trip. We have reservations at one of the resorts, but I am having difficulties finding specific times for shows, events, etc. It is our first trip

    Hi there, Cynthia!

Absolutely: Planning a trip to Walt Disney World can definitely be a challenge.

But the Moms are here to help!

My first suggestion is to create a must-do list. Based on everything you have seen and read about, figure out what, at each Park, is a must: a restaurant, a show, a character to meet, something to experience.

The fan site AllEars.net can be a wonderful starting point for descriptions and user reviews, too.

Once you have that list, the rest can fall into place.

And your best resource for finding showtimes is on the Disney Parks Web site. Each of the four Parks has a calendar, accessible by clicking the navigation bar on the left side of each Park homepage. You can scroll through the months until you hit on the month of your travel, and then drill down to your specific date.

Make sure to start planning your reservations, too, which can be made 180 days in advance of your travel. Just call (407) WDW-DINE, or use the convenient online form.

As your itinerary starts to take shape, please come back to us and let us help you refine the details.

Take a deep breath, and happy planning!

    See you later, celebrator,
