I know dates aren't out yet, but generally when does mickeys not so scary Halloween start? Are visiting mid September and are hoping it starts in Sept vs Oct.

    Hi Christopher,

You're considering attending one of my very favorite events at Walt Disney World ... Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If history is an indicator, you'll likely be able to attend if visiting mid September, as the parties generally begin around the 2nd week of the month. Of course, parties are always subject to change so be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for release dates.  You'll be required to purchase a separate ticket for entry, and in my opinion, the fun is well worth the additional admission cost. With Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, countless "treat" locations and the incredible HalloWishes fireworks exclusive to the party, you're in for a SPOOKtacular event (don't worry... it's not really scary!)

Party dates should be released in the next few weeks, perhaps even by May 1st.

Happy planning, Christopher, and try not to bring home a hitchhiking ghost.
