I know about the Chip & Dale Campfire at Fort Wilderness, but I just read about a "Campfire on de’ Bayou" at Port Orleans. Can you give me any more information about this even? Do any characters show up, etc? Thanks

    Hi Robert!

That's a new one to me! I had to look this one up since I wasn't familiar with it!! I may have to check it out sometime now!!

The Campfire on de' Bayou is a sing-along and story-telling activity complete with s'mores kits available for your own roasting (currently priced at approx. $7). In the past, this has been available on select nights from October to February in the early evenings. No word yet as to if this will return for 2010. Characters do not attend this party.

As far as I know, the Chip n' Dale Campfire Sing-along is the only regularly scheduled nightly resort activity to feature character appearances.

Nightly activities at a few other resorts include a campfire, s'mores kits and outdoor movies (shown on an inflatable screen). Some of the resorts that these are held at include: Yacht & Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian, and All Star Music (no campfire/no beach - located near the pool). You do not need to be a guest at the resort to take part in these events, so be sure to check one out. Also, be sure to check the activities calendar you'll receive at check-in. There will probably be some fun events at your resort you'd like to check out too!

    Hope this helps!
