I know you can use a charge card when you check in for charging priv. But, when you check in can you use disney gift cards instead?

Hi Nancy! You can use cash, credit cards, and certainly Disney gift cards to put against your account when you check in. Make sure you understand the policies of how they charge against a credit card etc for the extra charges and your room if not paid in advance. The Value resorts are allowed to charge up to $500 before they will send the charge to the credit cards. Moderate resorts will have a $1000 limit and the Deluxe resorts will have a $1500. I caution guests of this as many times we have used our charging privileges for dining, shopping and recreation and if you reach your limit you have to ask the resort to send the charge out and start over. They should do this automatically but more times then not they don't and we have to make a phone call from a restaurant or a shop!
