DO you know which camping loops in Fort Wilderness have the wheel chair accessible cabins?

Hi Vickie! You will be excited to know that they have just refurbished all the Fort Wilderness Cabins and they are better then ever. They have listened to the past guests and their wishes and have made some great changes.

The 2800 Loop of the cabins have several handicap accessible cabins with ramps leading to the doors. This loop is conveniently located closest to the main bus area. There are sidewalks which means you could technically make the short walk to the bus versus waiting on an internal bus to make the transfer. Obviously in poor weather I recommend the bus and if you need to head down to Pioneer Hall or the marina for the Magic Kingdom boats you would also need to use the internal buses. But they are very reliable and the wait is usually not long.

Make sure you let them know you will be needing a handicap cabin when making your reservation. Do not wait until you arrive as there are only a set number and you will want to have it assigned to you and not risk not getting one.
