Hello, I know backpacks are not permitted. May I bring a simple small drawstring bag? I dont want to loose my families belongings on the rides or anything. In places like rock festivals where you are not allowed bags they allow drawstring bags.

Hello, Heather!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You will be happy to know that you may bring along a backpack. As a matter of fact, I always have mine with me with every Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Your backpack may not be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61cm x 38cm x 46cm).  As long as your measurements are within these dimensions, you will be just fine.  Yes, you may also bring a drawstring bag, but please note the above measurements.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  You will find other handy dandy information on the Park Rules and Regulations page.  I frequent this page with every WDW vacation just in case new rules or regulations have been added since my last visit.

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to spread some pixie dust.  May your upcoming vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
