Hi Moms! I know you can take a backpack on most of the rides but what are your suggestions for the more thrilling rides such as Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster. I really don't want to have to get a locker. Thanks, your panel is such a big help.

I really don't think you'll need to rent a locker just to store your backpack for those rides.  We always take a backpack into the parks with us and have never had a problem storing it when it comes time for the thrill rides.  There are two ways to secure your backpack once you board the ride.  My husband's preferred method is to put it on the floor of the ride vehicle between his feet.  The backpack he carries is a standard Jansport one and we stuff it pretty full so the size of it prevents us from sliding into the storage bins available on most rides.  That brings me to the second option.  Most of the thrill rides have some sort of storage available.  Sometimes you will find a basket beneath the seat, but usually there will be a pocket in front of you.  Depending upon the size of the backpack you intend to bring, it may or may not fit into the seat pocket.  If it doesn't, you can always do what my husband does and just secure it between your feet/legs during the ride.  That route has always worked well for us!
