I know it's awhile yet but my hubby and I are going on the Panama Canal cruse in 2016. What kind of extra or different activities and entertainment is available during a 2 week Disney Cruise. We are both seniors.

    Ahoy, Saundra!

The Panama Canal cruise and the length of its voyage is on the top of my children's list of vacation to-do's. They love the long voyages, since they get to enjoy the Disney Cruise ship for a much longer time. Everyone gets spoiled during the voyage -- it's tough to come home to do your own cooking and cleaning once again.

The long voyages will have a variety of entertainment acts lined up for guests. In addition to the Broadway-style musicals in the theater, they can also schedule magicians and various entertainers on different evenings. You might also want to consider playing the onboard Bingo game, since the pot is usually very high for the longer cruises. There are also Karaoke, game shows, cooking demonstrations & classes and presentations that will keep you entertained and busy throughout the voyage.

Make sure you check the Personal Navigator each day since any specials, activities and events will be clearly noted and described here. This will be delivered to your stateroom each evening, to help you prepare for the following day. If you have a smart phone, you can even download the Personal Navigator App now. You'll just need to reload it when you embark and the data will automatically populate.

You'll have lots of time to spend on the decks relaxing, Saundra!

    Have fun planning your cruise!
