I know you have been asked this question a lot.. but when is the best time to go where there isn't many people?

    Hi Lisa,
The truth is, the Disneyland Resort has become a favorite vacation destination to many families year-round! That's not to say the crowds don't wind down during certain times of the year but on any given day, you will find plenty of families and Disney enthusiasts enjoying the Magic.
For the most part, the busiest times of year include spring break, summer, and major holidays like Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year's.
In my experience, the months of February and March are great times to visit. August and September are also less crowded and the first week of December is pretty mellow.
But regardless of when you choose to visit the Disneyland Resort, there are ways you can make your trip a successful, memorable event. All it takes is planning.
First off, the Disney FASTPASS service allows guests to use their Park tickets to retrieve a return time and avoid long lines at numerous popular attractions.
If you purchase a dining package like a Main Street Electrical Parade dining package at Disneyland or the Frozen dining package at California Adventure, you get a wonderful meal plus preferred viewing area vouchers for each show. This guarantees an excellent culinary experience and a perfect spot to view these incredible presentations!
Also, if you download the Disneyland Mobile App, you can check attraction wait times and character meet and greets and make your way to those locations with plenty of time.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
