I know the answer but can not find it anywhere. so everyone that is dinning with you must use the dinning plan credit? If there is 5 adults all 5 must use a dinning credit. No way 4 use credit and one pays cash? Or everyone pays cash.

    Hi Michael!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Disney Dining Plan is something I use every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the convenience it offers, and also enjoy the great savings across the whole Resort. The Disney Dining Plans are very flexible and it is entirely up to each individual Guest how they use their entitlements, and providing there are enough credits left on your account, you can use them in any way you please - maybe using more credits on one day, and less on another.
Everyone on the same Resort Reservation must be using the same Dining Plan, and while it is not linked to any actual dining reservations it may not used to purchase a meal for anyone outside of your Resort Reservation, but if you are dining with friends who are not using the Disney Dining Plans you can all choose to pay by whatever method you prefer.  When you arrive at your table, advise your server that some of you will be using your dining plan, and some of you will be paying by another method. The Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure.

Dining reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
