Hi Kirsten, The park was packed today!!! When is the best time of year to visit?

    Hi Pam!

    Happy New Year!
How exciting that you were at Walt Disney World on New Year's Eve! I can't think of a more fabulous place to be on such a special day!

If you're already planning a return visit, there are a few times of year that I particularly enjoy.
Consider visiting around the time of Canadian Thanksgiving. You'll find the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival happening at that time of year, which a great special event to experience. Plus, the weather is usually still really nice and warm then.

My favourite time of year to visit, hands down, is at the very end of November or early in December. If you consider this time of year, plan to arrive the week after American Thanksgiving weekend. Why do I enjoy this time of year so much? Well ... the crowds are quite low, the weather is wonderful and warm with very little rain, and the pricing on flights and resorts are in 'low season' making it very affordable to include some fun extras in our visit.

Another great time to consider, although a little cooler, is late January or through the month of February, before school spring breaks begin.

If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit me again. I'd love to help you plan your next trip. If you have questions about Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, the Disney Dining Plan or anything else you can think of, I'll be right here waiting to help you out!

Wishing you safe travels home and a Magical time as you begin thinking about your family's NEXT trip to Walt Disney World!
