Hi Kirsten, so I'm hearing about new things happening at Disney. What "hidden" extras are must haves for our trip in December? (5 and 3 year old) tx

    Hi Diana!

There are always new things happening at Walt Disney World! That's precisely what keeps it so magical for families like mine to want to keep returning over and over again!

A couple of other attractions you may not already know about are some 'games' played around the parks. At Magic Kingdom there are two of them: A Pirate's Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas and Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Over at Epcot, Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure provides all sorts of mini "quests" to keep your youngsters on their toes! Finally, at Animal Kingdom Park, your kids can complete challenges around the park when they become Wilderness Explorers and they'll even earn 'Adventure Badges' along the way!

Finally, be sure to check out Kidcot Fun Stops as your family ventures around World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot Park.

I've included links so that you can read all about them online. They're great ways to pass some time touring around the parks if you need a change of pace from waiting in queues for attractions, characters and shows.

Enjoy reading about these fun little 'extras' around the parks Diana - and feel free to visit again any time if you have more questions!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
