Hi Kirsten Friend of Carole have 4 days in orlando...which parks shld we aim for.2 boys 8 and 9 yrs old. have done magic kingdom when they were 4 and 5 water parks?

    Hi Christine!

I'm so glad that Carole sent you my way! Your boys are at great ages to enjoy some new thrills at Walt Disney World!

First, I'd recommend that you visit at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If your boys are into Star Wars like my son is, they're sure to enjoy such attractions as the Jedi Training Academy and Star Tours. Be sure to arrive at park opening to sign up early for Jedi Training Academy. Spots fill up quickly for the day's sessions, so you'll want to make this your first stop. Other great 'boy' attractions at this park include the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, Toy Story Midway Mania! and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Be sure to stay into the evening to see the incredible Fantasmic! show.

My top water park pick for boys would be Typhoon Lagoon for sure!

If you have time to visit Magic Kingdom, I'd highly recommend it. You'll find that a lot has changed around the park in the past 4 years since your previous visit! My son who is 11, loves to play two new interactive games around the park. A Pirate's Adventure - Treasure of the Seven Seas is a brand new interactive adventure that my son tells me is best enjoyed at night! His long-time favourite game, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is another great adventure that takes you all around the park. Fit these quests and missions in between riding such classics as Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean!

I hope these tips help you out Christine.
Please feel free to write me back if you have additional questions. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
