What kind of weather should we expect on Bahamian cruise January 24?

Welcome aboard, Leah! It sounds like you must be planning an exciting sailing onboard one of Disney's magical ships early next year! Well, you certainly have a lot to look forward to!

I think you will be happy with the gorgeous weather in the Bahamas in January. It might be a bit chilly as you leave the port, but once you get south into those warm waters, you should see highs in the upper 70's at Castaway Cay and Nassau that month. Of course, I'm no meteorologist, so be sure to check the weather online a week or so before you set sail, but most likely you'll enjoy beautiful warm days.

I sailed on the Disney Magic at the end of January this year, and though we were a bit further West, in the Caribbean, than the Bahamas, we had gorgeous warm weather. When the ship is at sea, you will notice that the temperature is cooler and a bit windier than when it is docked, so definitely pack a sweater or sweatshirt for cool nights on deck.

Have fun as you plan for your trip, Leah! I'm happy to help with any other questions!
