What kind of stroller do you recommend for a 10 month old and a three year old? We are looking at coming in December and are trying to find the best stroller to fit the two of them and will go well at the parks! Thanks!

Hi, Becky! We're big fans of our sit and stand stroller. In fact, that type of stroller is becoming very popular at Disney World. Last week when we were in the parks, I'd say about a third of all double strollers were sit and stand models. Baby Trends and Joovy were the frontrunners.

The sit and stand stroller is nice because it allows the older kid to follow his natural inclination to get "off and on, and off and on, and off and on, and off and on..." and so on. (You get the idea. You have a three year old!) The baby can then take the front seat without a problem.

If that's not your cup of tea (insert Alice joke here,) toddler backpacks are a great way to go. On our trip last week, we brought our sit and stand stroller and a hiking-style toddler backpack. Our youngest son is 18 months, and only sits still for so long in the stroller these days now that he's bipedal. We mixed it up by him riding the majority of the time on my back in the backpack and he LOVED it. He had a little sunshade over his head and everything, and he even napped in it some days (something he never does in the stroller.)

Whatever you decide, try it out at home before taking your travel gear to Disney World. You can even try out stroller models and backpacks at stores near you to see if it feels right. Think of it as an exciting milestone for your upcoming trip!
