What kind of cruise can you recommend for two kids--a boy who is three and a daughter who is six? What kind of activities are provided for the children on the cruise?

    Hi Michelle!
Welcome to the Moms Panel! I also have a prince and princess 3 yrs a part with my daughter being the older of the two!  They have enjoyed sailing on many Disney Cruises and can never get enough of all the fun provided by the amazing cruise staff and counselors in the youth clubs!  From the moment you step aboard, your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter will be your go-guide for all the ship's happenings!  It is jam-packed with info about the kids' clubs, character meet & greets, family fun, movies & entertainment and so much more!  Your sailors will be busy with activities like Super Sloppy Science, Once Upon A Time Storytime, Piston Cup Challenge, Gaga Ball, Arts and Crafts, Dress Up Fun, Aloha Luau, Computer Time just to name a few!  The youth spaces are open from early in the morning until late at night, and you can check your kiddos in and out as often as you like!  When they are not in the clubs, the pool deck is the place to have splashtacular fun as a family!
With 4 ships in the Disney fleet, you now have great options when it comes to home ports and itineraries.  Currently, the Disney Fantasy is the only ship just sailing 7-night itineraries alternating between the Eastern/Western Caribbean out of Pt. Canaveral.  The Disney Dream also in Pt. Canaveral sails 3 or 4 night cruises to the Bahamas including a stop on Disney's island, Castaway Cay.  Currently the Disney Magic is in Galveston, TX, but will return to the Mediterranean this summer.  It has both Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries from 4 to 8 nights.  The Disney Wonder is now sailing from Miami before it heads to Alaska this summer.
My advice is to pinpoint when you want to sail and which home port so you can explore which options are available.  Take a look around the Disney Cruise Website and visit me back here once you have more questions!
