What kind of clothes should I pack for a visit in late October for grand daughters 5 & 11?

    Hi Jeanne!
Speaking from experience, late October can still, believe it or not, be very warm and somewhat humid, although not as bad as the beginning of the month.
I would recommend still packing warm weather clothes for the children with maybe one set of pants, and maybe a sweater or sweatshirt in case of a cool evening.
Nobody knows your grandchildren better than you (whether they get cold easily or are more hot-blooded), so I would make final decisions based on that experience. However, since you asked, my opinion would be to pack more warm weather clothing (shorts, sneakers, t-shirts, etc).
I hope this helps a bit and I wish you and your granddaughters a Magical vacation!! :)
