    Becca Asked

Hi, I have 2 kids, 17 yr old boy & 13 yr old girl, would it be ok to have them roam WDW by themselves? Also, should I let them each have charging on their 'Key To The World' card?

Hello Becca!  Only you can determine the maturity level of your children to make the final decision but two of my children are very close in age to yours.  My oldest will go off and do his own thing (sometimes with his brother) and I have no worries at all with him doing so.  He prefers not to bring sister with him but on occasion he will for short periods of time when she wants to go on certain attractions with him.

That being said, we have been fortunate to go to Disney many times and my kids know the parks like their backyard.  They also have cell phones and designated times to meet up.  If this is a privilege you want to grant to your children, you have a right to make that decision.

As far as charging privileges, I have allowed this for my children since they were very young.  It's very convenient if you are in a food court and you need to split up in lines of if one of the children want to go back for something additional.  Just explain they have charging privileges and what their limits are.

I hope this helps and have a fabulous vacation!  Diane
