I have 3 kids, 2 teen/tween girls & 1 boy age 6. We will be there for Christmas and tried to schedule things all 3 will like. We planned on going to House of Blues for dinner and DQuest after, is this OK for kids or more adult oriented? Thanks.

    Jennifer:

I've eaten at House of Blues only once.  The food was fine, but there was no entertainment that evening.  The restaurant is more "adult-oriented" but you may not have a lot of choices near Christmas...If you're looking for a dining experience for the children, a better choice might be Planet Hollywood (especially with teen/tween girls), T-Rex, or Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney.  Just be aware that Rainforest Cafe is a good 12-minute walk from DisneyQuest.

Our family has been fans of DisneyQuest for years, and it provides something for everyone in our family, even our 5-year-old.  Your son may not be tall enough for the simulated roller coaster ride, but should be fine for everything else.  (FYI: I like to wait with my little guy in the Create Zone near the easels while his older siblings ride the simulators.  He spent over an hour on our last trip there!)

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
