Hello! Can kids older than 9 years old order from the kids menu at Disney restaurants?

    Hi Mickey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending us this great question!

When visiting any Disney dining location, children ages 3-9 would order from the Kids' Menu. If you are planning to pay for your meals using cash, debit card, credit card, etc. you'll find that there is a great deal of flexibility, and even adults can easily order from the Kids' Menus. However, when visiting Disney Character Dining locations, buffets, or other comparable prix fixe meal restaurants, anyone in your party that is 10 years of age, and up, will be charged the adult price.

If you have purchased any of the Disney Dining Plans, you may find that ordering items from the Kids' Menus using adult meal credits, is not necessarily the most optimal way to utilize those entitlements. It would be best to pay out-of-pocket for anyone in your party that is 10 years of age, or older, and planning to order exclusively off the Kids' Menus. If, however, you would rather go ahead and use those "adult" meal entitlements to order items from the Kids' Menus, you'll find that most Cast Members will often bring out larger portions of kid friendly entrées.

Mickey, I hope this information was helpful. If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We'll be more than happy to answer all your questions, and hopefully, sprinkle a little pixie-dust on all your Disney vacation plans.

Wishing you a most unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
