    1) 2 kids. A loves rides. B loves characters. If both get fastpasses can I still rider switch? (Can I either chaperone B without a pass, or use rider swap without one?) Or must I give up rides for baby? (2) When in the parade order is the scary dragon?

Thank you for bringing your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anne! I see you'll be visiting Mickey and his pals in a few short days! I'd be happy to help ensure you have the most magical trip possible.

I have three boys ranging in age from 10 to 17, all with different interests, so I completely understand your dilemma, Anne. Disney's Rider Switch system is available at select attractions at all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, and it allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with Mouseketeers who are unwilling or unable to ride. Disney's official policy is that all Guests in your traveling party who want to experience an attraction will need a FastPass+ selection if you intend to use Rider Switch using the FastPass+ queue.

The same policy applied for character meet and greets. If your tiny tyke melts for the Frozen sisters, you'll both need a FastPass+ reservation if you want to go through the FastPass+ queue to meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. Other meet and greets available with FastPass+ include Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse at Town Square Theater, Cinderella and Elena at Princess Fairytale Hall, and the Disney Junior Pals in the Animation Courtyard.

Magic Kingdom Park's Festival of Fantasy Parade is a favorite of many Guests. Shown daily at 3:00 PM, the 12-minute march through the Park includes nine spectacular floats. About two-thirds of the way through the parade, you'll see heroic Prince Phillip battle the Steampunk Dragon, also known as the wicked Maleficent. You'll know she's on her way after Merida passes by with the Scottish dancers. The three good fairies, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, signal the dragon's fiery arrival. Make sure to watch the finale, however, with Mickey and Minnie's giant hot air balloon!

I hope this helps, Anne! Please stop back again if you need any more advice. See ya' real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
