My kids are 5 and 2 and I'm thinking about attending the Holidays Around the World Candlelight processional. Are they too young to enjoy and fully appreciate this experience? Should I wait until they are older?

Absolutely you should experience this spectacular presentation of the nativity story with your young children.

Are they too little to fully enjoy and appreciate Epcot's Candlelight Processional? Probably, but small ones will still delight in and benefit from this event. The celebrity narrators are marvelous storytellers, the orchestra and choir are overwhelming, and the hundreds and hundreds of candle carrying singers processioning in is beautiful. The outdoor setting is casual, relaxed, and family friendly, not a stiff, formal concert hall atmosphere at all. This is a great opportunity to expose your children to a meaningful Christmas tradition and wonderful music. Disney always plans with families in mind. In a few years you can take your kids again to experience the Candlelight Processional on a different level.

    Enjoy!
