Our kids will be 14 (girl) & 12 (boy) and haven't had character meals since 2008. We want to surprise them with one each. What would you recommend as the most fun character meals? We don't like the menu at the castle, but Tabitha loves princesses.

Hi, Alanna!  If you aren't interested in the menu at the castle, have you looked at the Princess Storybook meals at Restaurant Akershus?  You'll find this restaurant in the Norway Pavilion at EPCOT, and you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner with the princesses.  The characters are subject to change, but you can often find Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine among the princesses who dine here.

As for the most fun, Chef Mickey's is still one of the most popular character dining experiences.  You'll usually find your favorites here - Mickey, Goofy, and Chip and Dale.  My kids also really enjoy the Cape May Character breakfast and the breakfast at 'Ohana, which usually features Lilo and Stitch.

I hope this helps with your dining decisions!
