My kids eat very little are you allowed to split meals for the table dining ticket or the quick service ticket. Also if tickets are left on the band can they be transferred to adults for an upscale meal for example one that requires two credits?

    Dear Melissa,

Thank you so much for stopping by to say hello to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning for your Disney Dining Plan credits!

The great news for you is that the Disney Dining Plan carries a lot of flexibility for your family's needs. Your meal credits can be used in many different ways. They are given to you all in one block when you check in on your first day, so you can use them all in one day if you want to take out a group to a signature meal, or you can use them split up over many days and many meals. As you mentioned, you can use two Table-Service meal credits per person for some Signature dining experiences.

Your children can absolutely split meals at Quick-Service restaurants, and at some Table-Service restaurants. At buffets, dinner shows, and other fixed price meals such as character meals, you would not be able to split meals because those are experiences in which you pay a fixed amount per person no matter what you are eating.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
