    Anne from NB Asked

What kids club for my 11 year old daughter and almost 10 year old son should I register them in ? I want them to be together. Confused about the differences between Lab and Club and they are quite mature. Thanks for the information.

Welcome aboard, Anne! My daughter is about the same age as your children, and she adores when we sail with Disney Cruise Line, as the Youth Clubs are some of her favorite spaces!

Your two children are at perfect ages, as they'll be able to experience a few of the Youth Clubs onboard! The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are the spots for kids ages three to 12, so they can both spend hours together here, with the exciting events that take place. Your daughter is also old enough to have fun at Edge, the tween club onboard. They offer even more activities and events throughout the day, and she'll get to meet more friends that are her age. Technically, your son isn't in the age range for Edge, however, with your written permission, since he's only one year younger than the Edge age group of 11 - 14, and traveling with his sister, he will most likely be able to join her for some older kids fun in Edge.

Swing by all three Youth Clubs during Open House hours that first day onboard so your kiddos can check out the spaces, and you can chat with the counselors at Edge about your son joining in. Then, be sure you check your Personal Navigator or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App throughout your sailing to get the schedule of events that will take place in the different spaces.

During your online check in, you'll only need to pre-register them for the Oceaneer Club and Lab, as there is no pre-registration necessary for Edge. Then, they'll be free to choose to join in at whichever club has the event going on that they like most at the time. Have fun planning, Anne!
