kids and bathing suits I have never liked but the girls always ask to wear them at other parks... suggestions? they will wear shorts not just the bottoms... is this a good idea or not? I see the good for water rides and stuff but dont know. your opinion?

    Hi Tammy,

At the four main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom) I don't think it's necessary to wear bathing suits.  If you are travelling during the warmer months, shorts and t-shirts are absolutely fine.  At Magic Kingdom, if you chose to ride Splash Mountain, there is a possibility that you'll get wet, and the same holds true for Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom.  However, especially during the summer, you'll dry off quickly.  These are the only attractions where you may get wet.  Most guests don't opt to don bathing suits just for these attractions. I suggest wearing whatever you and your children are most comfortable in, however, again, you'll find that most guests prefer traditional "park gear" rather than swim wear in the parks.
