    Mildred from WA Asked

Are kids still allowed to use Apple Pay in the parks without their parents present?

Hiya, Mildred, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re so happy to have you here.

When it comes to visiting the Disneyland Resort, I’m all about convenience and saving time – which is why Apple Pay is a great method of payment there! Whether you’re using it at quick-serve restaurants, retail locations, or even kiosks throughout both theme parks, it’s a handy helper to help you pay and go quickly. One of my fellow panelists was recently at the Disneyland Resort, and she asked a Cast Member this very question. She was told there shouldn’t be any problem with having your kids use Apple Pay during your vacation. They can simply let the Cast Member at checkout know that they plan on using this method of payment. Just keep in mind that if they’re planning on using an Annual Passport or Disney Vacation Club discount, they’ll be asked to show a form of identification.

Another option is to provide them with Disney Gift Cards, which can be used on all-things Disney, from merchandise to theme-park tickets to dining. They have no fees, and they never expire! Disney Gift Cards are available in set amounts, ranging from $25-$500. Plus, they feature really cute Characters and designs!

I also recommend downloading the Disneyland app, which is an awesome tool to use within the Disneyland Resort. It can be used to find favorite Characters, check wait times, use Disney MaxPass, make dining reservations, and even mobile order food, drinks, and treats! I have a feeling your resourceful Mouseketeers will get the hang of it in no time!

And, to make waiting in line a bit more fun, be sure to download Play Disney Parks, which will connect you and your family with unique experiences and activities that bring your surrounding environments to life.

Wishing you and your family many magical adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
