My kids agreed to not have big birthday parties in the fall in order to go to Disney World in January. Would it be strange to try to celebrate their birthdays at WDW even though it was months before? I want to celebrate their decision and make it special.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cynthia!

The Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate all of life's celebrations! Even if it is your children's un-birthdays, if you are there to celebrate their birthdays - go ahead and celebrate! We promised my son for years we would celebrate his double digit birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort. When the time came, his birthday fell during a week we were unable to schedule our vacation. We instead visited the month after. It certainly did not matter to my son that we were a bit late in celebrating! We decorated our hotel room with birthday decorations and booked two special dinners he requested. We had an amazing time! During your visit be sure to pick up birthday buttons for your children at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at Guest Relations located inside any Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Cynthia!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
