My kids (ages 8,6,&4) are not big eaters so I'm debating if it is cost efficient to purchase the quick-service dining plan. I have no idea how much food costs at the parks to calculate if it is a "deal" to purchase the dining plan or to pay

Hi, Pamela!  It can be tough to weigh out whether or not it is more economical to purchase the dining plan without an idea of the cost of the meals!  My best resource for getting a ballpark amount for dining is at allears.net.  If you head to the site, there is a tab at the top for DINING, and that will lead you to an extensive list of Walt Disney World resort and theme park restaurant menus.  They do an excellent job of keeping prices and information up to date.  You can find counter service as well as table service options there.

Many people like the dining plan not so much for a bargain as much as because it allows them to pay a set amount for food, and it helps in budgeting.  It's sort of like heading into the parks with no worries about hidden expenses - except souvenirs!

    Have a great trip!
