Can kids (age 4 and 18 months) wear costumes during normal disneyland park times?

    Greetings, Nola!

Yes! All children under the age of 14 are welcome to wear costumes at any time at the Disneyland Resort. One of the best memories we have from our visits to the Disneyland Resort is a darling photo of our son when he was just a cute little boy wearing a pirate costume and posing with none other than Captain Hook. I love that Disneyland Resort lets guests enhance the magic even more by allowing children to immerse themselves fully into their favorite Disney stories. Note that masks may be worn. But the child’s eyes must be fully visible and peripheral vision must not be blocked.

Tony’s Tip: Hold on to your vacation memories with unlimited downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos when you add Disney MaxPass to your theme park ticket.

Normally, guests ages 14 and over may not wear costumes of any kind while visiting the Disneyland Resort. However, one special exception is for guests of the currently sold-out Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. During this spooktacular party, guests may show their Halloween spirit by dressing up as they trick-or-treat, dance, and spell-ebrate at Disney California Adventure Park. Certain costume guidelines apply for safety and security reasons. For other times, guests are welcome to Disney bound as a way to connect with their favorite Disney stories and attractions at the Disneyland Resort.

Have a magical time during your visit to the Disneyland Resort, Nola!
