Want to take my kid age 2(girl) & 4 (boy) to Disney Feb 2016 more like a Thurs-Sun trip. What are your recommendations on stay and parks to explorer? Should I stay on Disney resort ?trying to save money. Thanks

Hello Leona! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am a single mother, so I completely understand budgeting and stretching money. I definitely recommend staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel because there are so many benefits of staying on-site. Not only do you get to take advantage of the complimentary transportation, MagicBands, and early access to Disney's FastPass+ service, but you also get extra time in the parks with Extra Magic Hours. I suggest taking a look at Disney's Value Resorts. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what you get for the price you pay. For your family I recommend Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's Pop Century Resort.

As far as parks go, I think it would be great if you could explore all of them. You could do this with Park Hopper tickets, which would allow you to visit more than one park in a day with your ticket. If you are only planning on visiting one park a day, I still think that you could separate each park into your four-day trip if you wanted to see them all. However, I do suggest visiting the Magic Kingdom twice. I always plan two full days at the Magic Kingdom just because out of all of the parks it has the most to do and see, especially with small children. If you had to eliminate a park I think Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios would be your top contenders having small children. Take a look at both parks and decide which one your children would enjoy the most.

    Also:

*Bring water containers- you can get a free cup of ice water at most Quick-Service locations. I bring my water container and frequently fill up.
*Souvenirs- The penny press and autograph book are great souvenirs that don't cost a fortune.
*You CAN bring in food and drink into the parks.

I hope this helps, and if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to ask. Have a magical vacation!
