I keep seeing the questions about the Disney Visa card and about the perks but how do you use it? My granddaughter wants to see characters? We are going November 9-16, 2014. This was a spur of the moment trip, so the character dining's were full. Thanks!

    Hi there, Dorothy!

I absolutely love spur-of-the-moment trips to Walt Disney World! Living within driving distance of the Parks, we do that quite often and it's so much fun!

The perks that you get for being a Disney Visa® Cardholder from Chase are pretty awesome, aren't they? To meet and pose with some of your favorite Disney Characters, just stop by the private location at Innoventions West at Epcot. It's reserved just for Cardmembers and you'll need to present your Disney Visa® Card in order to enter. The event is typically offered daily from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern but you'll want to pick up a Times Guide upon your arrival to the Park because schedules are always subject to change. You can get a complimentary 5 x 7 photo, too!

As for Character Dining, please keep trying to get in because Guests who make Advanced Dining Reservations often change their plans around and space can become available as time goes on. I often find that if we're fairly flexible on times, we can typically get into the restaurants that we really want. We may just need to have dinner a bit earlier or later than what we originally wanted.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel, Dorothy, and I sure hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
