    Hi Jennifer,

I used to purchase my daughter's princess costumes at The World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney when she was a little girl.  I find that they are of  better quality, the fabrics are nicer, and have more detail.  They are more expensive too.  I believe they run somewhere around $65 not including accessories.  Personally, I think they are worth every penny.  Costumes are sold in all of the parks, and many of the resort stores so you won't have an probems finding something special.

By the way, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is extraordinary!  I've been there for years in a row, and I've got my tickets ready for this year too.  It's become a family tradition, and I'm sure you're going to love it.

Have a wonderful time on vacation!
