Hi Kaylene, question for your boys (who did a great job answering my humunga kowabunga question in July - my DD8 loved it). Now, what is your / their opinion of Summit Plummet in Blizzard Beach? (we have never been to this water park) Is it WAY scarier t

Great to hear from you again, Jana!

Believe it or not, my boys and I rode Summit Plummet exactly one week ago. In fact, my DD-8 rode it with us as well. I just asked them their opinion and here is what they say,

"Summit Plummet has a worse 'fear factor' (anticipation) than Humunga Kowabunga. The whole time you are climbing up those steps, getting higher and higher, your knees start shaking and you keep looking at that drop off. Once you ride it though, it's no worse than Humunga Kowabunga...just a little longer."

My husband actually thinks Humunga Kowabunga is worse (scarier) than Summit Plummet, but it may be because the anticipation is so intense that it ends up not being that bad in the end. As I said, my DD-8 rode it right after me. She is a dare-devil (big time), and was a bit nervous at the top. She followed me down though and LOVED it!!! She said, "I rocked Summit Plummet, Mom!!!"

If you can get your daughter over the initial fear that comes with climbing those steps to the tippy-top and free-falling off the super-steep slide...she'll love it!! My family all thought it was awesome.

You'll have to write back and let me know what she thought of it,
