Hi Kaylene! I have a ?. My family of 5 and my sister-in-law and her 2 kids will total 8 ppl. We have booked rooms at the Poly separately but would like connecting rooms. I have a GG #. Do I need to get her # and call to request it? Thank you so much

Hi Lindsey, There are two things that need to be done in your situation.

First, you'll want to provide your sister-in-law with the Grand Gathering number that you were assigned. She will then need to call the Grand Gathering Travel Planners at 407-WDW-PLAN (407-939-7526) to request that her room added to your group. They'll ask her for that Grand Gathering number. By doing this, your rooms will be "linked" in the system, and the Front Desk will know that you are traveling together when they assign rooms.

Second, you'll want to call the Polynesian 9 days prior to arrival at: 407-824-2000 and ask to speak to the "Room Assigner". They get their Arrival lists at that point, so to call any sooner wouldn't be productive. You can then request to have connecting rooms. The deal is, if you have only 2 adults in your party, you would be guaranteed connecting rooms (so the children wouldn't be alone in a room). However, because there are going to be other adults in the other room, you would only be able to request it. You do have a pretty good chance of at least getting adjoining rooms, which are within close proximity of each other.

Hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation,

    Kaylene
