Hi Kay, thanks again & hope your long weekend was fun! We can only be at Disney for 5days4nights. Based on your experience, how many days are needed to enjoy Magic Kingdom at relaxed pace with 2kids(age 2&4)? Would you add ParkHopper to see Epcot?

Yes, Jessica, the long weekend was so relaxing and serene! "Camping" in our motor coach is always fun and especially when we bring it down to Disney!

With four nights at Disney you will have three full days for parks and two partial days on your arrival and departure dates.  I usually recommend families take it easy on arrival day using it to explore their resort, unpack, or heading to Downtown Disney for a walk, a little shopping, and a nice dinner.  Get to bed early and then head to your first park early the next day. It sounds like you don't want to be one of those rushing must do it all families so I would suggest that itinerary for your arrival day.

Noting your children's ages you will want to give the Magic Kingdom a priority for the parks. Depending on crowds, weather, and your pace it can take up to two days to enjoy and see it all. If it is warm you don't want to rush and will likely want to take the kids back mid day for a pool swim and/or nap. Then head back for dinner and the night time parades and fireworks. Because of your time constraints I would not add the park hopper to just see Epcot. Although it is a wonderful park even for the younger ones I feel they can enjoy this park at a later date and later vacation.

I would plan on one full day at the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and then either Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom for the last full day. Depending on your departure time you can use the last day to head back to the Magic Kingdom or take in a taste of the Animal Kingdom. (You will know whether you want another full day at the Magic Kingdom after your first day.) Only do a park on the departure day if your flight is late in the afternoon or evening. You can store luggage at your resort.
