Hi Kara B! I just have 1 more quick question re:EMH. We are staying at Port Orleans FQ Oct 9-16. So is it best to visit a park with morning EMH and then maybe opt not to visit a park if they have evening EMH? Do you typically go to 2 parks each day? Thx!

    Hi Rhonda!

We do plan our morning visits for the parks with Extra Magic Hours (EMH).  In fact, that is usually the starting point for our trip "agenda."  Once I know what parks have morning EMH, I begin to plan our lunch plans around those morning hours.

The evening EMH are still a toss-up for us.  Sometimes we have had great visits and othertimes it was so crowded we just went back to the resort.  I have heard that they have changed or are changing the evening EMH process some to be more careful in confirming that guests are WDW resort guests, so I'll be anxious to try that out on our next visit.  They may cut down on the crowds.

And yes, on most days we do visit 2 parks on each day.  It is helpful for the kids to keep up their steam (and maybe me, too!) to take an afternoon break for a swim, arcade time, or naps.  After the break, we usually move to a different park than we were at in the morning.

If you have more questions, please don't hestitate to ask -- we love being able to help!
